I'm Back!
I told myself I'd never do blind boxes again, but that's a no go! I lost touch once I knew how much money I was spending, but the excitement just kills it. I can control myself nowadays, but when it comes to old school japanese superheroes, I'll get hooked....bad! It's Kikaida and I gotta have 'em all! These are the Mini Big Head Figure Kikaida Edition.

Climax
Here's another group that amazed the hell out of me in 2001. This is Slum Village from Detroit consisting of members T3, Bataan, and J Dilla. I fell in love with the beat the first time I saw this video and had to buy the album. Everything about Fantastic Volume 2. was awesome and I considered it to be on the top of my greatest Hip-Hop albums list. J Dilla is a legend and one of my favorite producers of all time. Check this out!

Old BEP
It was the summer of 1998 and I was watching the newer version of Yo! MTV Raps one Friday night simply called Yo!. I remember this vividly because every video being played were by pretty shitty artists, with the exception of some. This group was one of those exceptions and I was blown away. From the lyrics to the jazzy beats to the dancing, the Black Eyed Peas opened my eyes to what hip hop should be. This was way before Youtube and DVR so I had to wait a whole week and sit through all these wack ass videos to see if Joints and Jams would be played again so I could record it. I bought their first album entitled Behind the Front and played the hell out of it. I got a chance to see them in 1999 at the Spring Broke Concert Fest at Kualoa Ranch. The line up also included The Pharcyde (minus FatLip), De La Soul, and Yellow Man. BEP was even better live and put on one of the best performances I had ever seen. I saw them two more times after that at World Cafe and Kapono's. Fast forward 11 years since their debut and I can't stand them. I'm not trying to be a hater, it's just my personal opinion. They are still great performers and I do respect Will.i.am as a musician, but I don't care for their music now. All I know is that Behind the Front and even Bridging the Gap are their better albums. Enough blabbering already....watch the vid!

Pondering and Dedication......
I heard a story yesterday about someone that made me laugh (sarcastic comments included), but then made me think and reflect...a lot. Long story short, I was about to write something that sounded like it was supposed to be in a copy of Contra's Manual to The Attachment Theory. Instead I decided to burn it and dedicate this to an old friend. There's no hate!

Taking It Back!
One more before I hate the hay. The Pharcyde is one of my favorite and influential hip hop groups of all time. This video is the shit! Also, see if you can spot Ad Rock and Mike D. in the mix!
Tracy Morgan Son!!!
It's crazy how you watch all these different videos on youtube and suddenly you blank out and can't think of anything. I'm slowly starting to remember or I'm just anxious, who knows? Anyway, this is a good one!
